White Rabbit is an eclectic group of veteran musicians with decades of experience.
Keyboardist and vocalist Mike Losekamp played with 'The Cyrkle', managed by Beatles manager Brian Epstein. Their hits included 'Red Rubber Ball' and 'Turn Down Day'. The band opened for the Beatles during their last U.S. tour! Mike was also a member of the immensely popular Dayton bands, 'Green Lyte Sunday' and 'The Mark V'.
Larry Vest was the bass player and vocalist for one of Dayton's best jazz bands, 'Giant', and also 'Higher Ground'. More recently he was in 'Timer' along with vocalist and guitarist Toni Vest, Losekamp and drummer Alan Walhay. Toni, Mike L. and Alan previously played with 'Pink Flamingo' (Columbus) and Alan has played with 'The Hathaways'.
Guitarist Mike Baumann has played with area bands for decades, including a local 70's favorite, 'Gandalf'. He played for a year in the Chicago area with Dave Bickler who went on to be the lead singer for 'Survivor'. Mike has even played electric guitar with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra.
Given all of these backgrounds, White Rabbit's set list is diverse, ranging from blues (Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton) to vintage rock (Grand Funk Railroad, Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac) to today's hits (Maroon Five, Sheryl Crow) with a generous helping of tunes by harder-to-classify bands such as Steely Dan.
No matter your musical tastes, White Rabbit has plenty for you to enjoy!
